Allie is a three-day event rider based out of Western WI. She has ridden up through the 3*L level of eventing and 3rd level dressage on horses she has developed herself. Allie began riding at the age of 8 through the generosity of a family friend. Since then, Allie's equine education has grown with the help of the United States Pony Club where Allie was a member from the age of 14-21, graduating as a "B" rated clubber.

After high school, Allie was able to further her knowledge base with several working student positions in the US, a "L" certified Dressage Judge, and a job in Ireland working for an eventing and steeplechase yard.  Each opportunity gave Allie a deeper understanding of how an equine business is run, from the training of horses and riders to the relationships necessary to maintain and grow a successful business.

Today, Allie is diligent about continuing her own education, as she believes riders are never done learning. In pursuit of further skill and knowledge, Allie has had the opportunity to work with many skilled equestrians including David O'Connor, William Fox-Pitt, Rebecca Holder, Jon Holling, Robin Walker, Lainey Ashker, Allison Springer, Yves Savignion, Ralph Hill and Dom Schramm, among many others.
In addition to her equestrian pursuits, Allie has achieved her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. This knowledge base gives her an in-depth understanding of rider biomechanics and position, and how it affects our horses. Drawing from her riding and academic education, Allie has a keen ability to help students and horses develop effective and fruitful partnerships.

Riding and training with Allie has been absolutely amazing. Her teaching style is incredibly personal and can meet you at your level, no matter what level that is. Every lesson I can confidently say that I walk away having learned something, and it’s always something that I can easily repeat and can continue to work on between lessons!

I have been riding with Allie for the last few years and have nothing but amazing things to say about her. She gives 110% to make sure you and your horse are happy. I wouldn’t be where I am today without Allie.

Allie is an amazing person. She is so understanding always knows what to say, and always puts the horse and rider as a pair first. She is super game, honest and intelligent. I look up to her a lot as a role model. Cannot say enough good things about Ad Astra Eventing, and would recommend to anyone in the Twin Cities or Western Wisconsin area.
